Manager Simon Grayson is aware of the threat posed by Gillingham on Tuesday night after some good results for the mid-table side.
Despite having little to play for in terms of league position, the PNE boss will not be underestimating Justin Edinburgh's side when they come to Deepdale. "I think everybody realised at the weekend the significance of the game, there was no motivation needed for the players and the supporters etc. But it's going to be a different scenario with an equal amount of importance because it's still three points at stake and we still want to get the points to get us over the line. "We know we have to be focused, it will be a different type of atmosphere, it won't be as busy I'm sure, but we have to make sure that we do all the right things to try and get the three points. "The last thing we want to do is come unstuck in a game when we're so close to the line now and we've got to be really at it and perform even better than we have done over the last couple of games. "They've had some good results, that's why you can't underestimate anybody. Just because they're probably not going to go down, not going to go up, there are only a few teams in our division I think who have got nothing much to play for but they are playing for their futures, and their football club. "They recently went to Bristol City and got a result there and beat Bradford at the weekend so that's a reason for people to keep their focus and their eye on the ball."
