Taking charge of Sunday’s derby game is Andy Madley; refereeing his second North End game of the season, having been the man with the whistle in our first league win of the season, the 4-0 triumph at Scunthorpe United back in August. If you think the name rings a bell, it should. Mr Madley was also in charge of our now memorable Cup win over Blackpool last season and then also took charge at Port Vale when North End won 2-0 with ten men, but the wrong player was sent to the stands. The following week after taking charge of North End, back in August, he then took charge of Fleetwood's goalless draw at home to Chesterfield. That was his third of his 28 games this season, where he has shown 80 yellow cards and sent off three players.
